Wrexham Rooms originally began in 2008 when we started operating our first eight multiple occupancy properties mainly for the student market in Wrexham. Since then we have grown and now own and manage our own diverse portfolio of HMO’s, single lets, holiday lets and serviced accommodation together with many properties belonging to others.

Having used agents in the past and never finding one that was capable of providing and delivering the diverse range of services our properties require we decided to set up our own! The idea being that to create a company that gives us everything we need to allow us to be much more hands-off and if it works for us it will work for many other HMO owners.

Since we began our venture Hazelhurst has grown exponentially and is now Wrexham’s largest specialist HMO management company. Concentrating our efforts on providing services we needed ourselves has allowed us to create a company that provides other HMO owners with services that allow a completely hands-off approach to managing their portfolios.

From 70 tenants we now have over 250, plus a team of trusted people and tradesmen that can do the things that properties need whatever that may be.

We are very pleased to say that most of our business comes from word of mouth and recommendations from our existing property owners and current and previous tenants.

Fully Furnished Short Lets – Tenant Benefits

Are you visiting the area for only a short period, maybe for work or maybe your house sale is going through and there are a few weeks where you need accommodation or you need to house your workforce for a new or ongoing contract.

Hotels are not the only option! Short term rental is often a more cost-effective and convenient solution and can be available at very short notice.

Some of our properties are furnished to a high standard and come complete with appliances, furniture, linen, kitchen equipment, TV’s etc!

Fully Furnished Short Lets – Landlord Benefits

Guaranteed Rent – We can offer guaranteed rent on our short term let properties giving you complete peace of mind regarding receiving your regular monthly rent payment.

Fully Managed Properties – We manage all our short term rental properties, which we will also furnish to a high standard making them desirable to short term tenants. 

Flexibility – Maybe you accidentally own a property that you need to rent or only want to rent for a short time period. Short lets can provide a rental income during void periods or whilst securing a long term tenant.

Landlord Fees 

Let only 12% – Marketing the property, conducting viewings, tenant checking, reference and credit checks, arranging inventory services, putting the tenancy agreement in place and securing the deposit.

Maintenance on a job by job basis – labour plus materials cost
